WHAT THIS IS

This independent, purpose-driven initiative seeks to promote compassion (karuna) and non violence (ahimsa) by leveraging broad-reach platforms like public broadcasting and social media.

The strategy stems from the premise that most people are either unaware of or indifferent to the impacts of their actions as they remain focused on their personal lives and social circles.

Breaking through these limitations requires high visibility to attract conscious, courageous individuals willing to challenge the status quo, even when violence and indifference is the norm.

WHY THE USE OF HINDU MYTHOLOGY AND PHILOSOPHY ?

Sanatan Dharma  (Eternal Law/Duty)  is the ancient Sanskrit name for what is commonly known as Hinduism today.

Hindu mythology and philosophy are used to convey deep spiritual ideas, ethical guidances, and the purpose of life, making complex philosophies comprehensible through stories, role models (gods/goddesses), and practices (yoga, meditation) for self-realization and understanding reality, offering practical wisdom for living a meaningful, virtuous life in a cosmic context.

Hindu mythology and philosophy does not require or ask anyone to convert to, believe in, follow or practice any specific religion. Instead, they work together as a living system to guide individuals toward wisdom, compassion, non violence, and spiritual liberation, offering profound insights into the human condition and the universe.

MOTIVATION

There are things in life we experience or witness that compel us to act. Whether it be personal pet peeves or acts of violence on a massive scale so horrendous we can no longer be bystanders.

    INSPIRATION

The struggle against systemic oppression, greed and hatred has historically resulted in the violent silencing of advocates for peace, human rights, animal rights and environmental protection.

However, these individuals often become iconic martyrs, whose sacrifices catalyze social change and inspire conviction in subsequent generations.
